Fight the power not the people - My say on the Olympics.

Peace in Tibet

I have questioned if I should have my say on this issue as this site is definitely not political. Yet recent events have made me very angry so I have decided to dedicate a post on what is going on with China and Tibet.

From the day I heard that the Olympics were given to China I was absolutely appalled and disgusted.

China has a long record of human rights abuses and for them to be granted the games with their record is disgusting.

Coming closer to the games are we really surprised with was has happened now with the Chinese thugs beating up monks in the streets.

Australia should not be going to the Olympics. No country should be going to the Olympics. China should never have been given the Olympics with their record.

Surely there must be some sort of moral code that would have disqualified them from even putting in a bid.

But here we are again. The big bully beaten up innocent, peaceful people who want to be freed from tirrany.

I am boycotting the Olympics. This was my opinion from the day I heard China was getting them and I have not changed my mind. I am not watching the Olympics, not reading anything about it and don’t care for one word about it.

I hope everyone who reads this does the same.

Shame on China for their abhorrent humanitarian record. Shame on the Olympic committee for giving them the Olympics and shame on any country who goes.

Have your say. Respond to this blog. The floor is yours…
