Yes Karl Lagerfeld has done a commercial for VW! The commercial is for Volkswagen “Style” a special stylish add-on package for VW Golf and Polo models that includes lightweight alloy rims, fog lamps and tinted privacy glass.

In this cute 30 second spot, Karl is seen as the photographer who seems to mutter under his breath something about how stylish the cars are and is surprised that they are German.

Yes the commercial is spoken entirely in German but our guess above is pretty much accurate as to what he is saying. Vas!? We’re in Deutschland!?

Got a spare $5000!  If you do then you should head for the recently opened Lamborghini Academy, a series of two-day courses where you will learn how to drive a beautiful Lamborghini from world class instructors on race tracks in Italy.

For just under $5,000, you’ll get classroom lessons as well as plenty of track time behind the wheel of a Gallardo LP 560-4 and Murcielago LP 640 (Advance Academy).

There are three courses available: Track Academy, Advance Academy, and Winter Academy where you get to blast around on a snow-covered course to learn some extreme driving skills.

It has Porsche’s first dual-clutch transmission which is a seven-speed unit. It has taken the company 25 years to place it in the on road version. The race cars being the first models to have it.

The biggest improvement is the reduced emissions. The Carrera Coupe now officially takes 9.8L/100km compared to 11.2L for the current model and it emits up to 15% less carbon dioxide than the last model.

Another difference is that both the coupes and convertibles will get LED daytime driving lights as well as bi-xenon headlamps as standard.

Xenon for those not in the know are headlamps that produce a clear white light closer to natural daylight, which has been proven to improve driver concentration. It is easier to read road markings and road signs with them. They also produce twice the light of Halogen bulbs while expending only half the power.

The car goes on sale on September 20. Only then will we find out the price.

Now that is a speeding ticket I would be happy to pay for!
